A good contract protects both of you
If you’re self-employed and working with clients without a contract in place, this one’s for you.
It doesn’t matter how well you know a client or how casual the arrangement feels, a contract protects you both.
It sets out what’s agreed, what it costs, payment terms, and what happens if things change. Without one, if something does go wrong, you’ve got nothing solid to fall back on.
You don’t need pages of legal jargon, even a simple, clear agreement is worth its weight in gold.
